The Hope Venture Statement of Faith

Reaffirmed October 29, 2019

We believe there is a God who graciously and generously loves everyone in the whole world.

We believe He upholds the cause of the oppressed 

and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free.

We believe the Lord gives sight to the blind, 

the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down.

We believe the Lord watches over the alien 

and sustains the fatherless and the widow.

We believe we can come to know this God only by the grace of God through faith in Christ alone, through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit. This is true hope.

Through all that we do, we seek to honor this one true God in the name of Christ Jesus, in accordance with the Bible, the only inspired, authoritative Word of God, and by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. We will make it our practice to inquire of Him for direction.

To Him be the glory and honor.
