Waiver

I know that running this race is a potentially hazardous activity. I or my child should not enter and run unless medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my or my child’s ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, traffic and the condition of the course, as such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of The Hope Venture, the City of Lincoln, all sponsors, their representatives and successors from claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my or my child’s participation in this event though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. Further, I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, and recordings of me or my child, or any other record of this event, for any legitimate purpose.
