Rescuing the Most Vulnerable.
Sylivia was at the clinic her two daughters: Shafic and Salim. Shafic had cerebral palsy, which led to her being malnourished. They were from a village six hours away and were brought in by the clinic staff on one of their outreach visits. The clock is ticking for many malnourished kids…by the time Dr. Emma’s team reach them in villages, some have about 24 hours to live if no medical intervention happens. Luckily, the staff was able to help Shafic and get her back to a stable state.
This project funds Dr. Emma’s malnutrition clinic and outreach program. He and the staff there do incredible, life-saving work, to not only stabilize the kids, but also to bring hope and training to their moms for when it’s time to leave the clinic and return home. This project is meeting a real and extreme need in Uganda and we’re so thankful to partner with Dr. Emma!
