S O C I A L M E D I A I N T E R N
O V E R A L L P U R P O S E :
The Social Media Intern is responsible for helping connect the public to our organization, as well as sharing the impact of our work and fostering our online community. In doing so, the Social Media Intern must also help maintain the voice and brand defined by our brand book on our different channels in order to create consistent and cohesive communication. Lastly, this person should work well within our team culture, should have a heart for what we do, and should be able to adhere to our Statement of Faith.

T A S K S :
- 45% // Attend weekly staff meeting, weekly FGH meeting, and weekly one-on-one meeting // Mondays 10am-11:30am, Thursdays 10:30am-noon, TBD
- 10% // Work with the Head of Mass Marketing to plan each monthly schedule // monthly
- 30% // Oversee the implementation of the social media schedule // weekly
- Create and schedule photo/carousel posts 3 days a week
- Gather photos
- Write copy
- Schedule/post
- Post IG stories 5 days a week
- Can be repost of our own content
- Graphics
- Videos
- Use interactive stickers
- Create and schedule photo/carousel posts 3 days a week
- 10% // Interact/Engage with other Instagram accounts
- Spend 5 minutes before and after a post is posted liking/commenting other people’s content
- Respond to all comments on our posts
- Respond to all dms
- 5% // Help track social media analytics over time // monthly
