Donor Coach

O V E R A L L   P U R P O S E :

This person is responsible for asking, welcoming, thanking, and maintaining a list of people involved with The Hope Venture. This role is a part of our Fun Generous Hub Team which is working together to build a hub of diverse individuals growing to live and love generously, to help fund our projects.

Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S :

The person for this role should have a personality that seeks to draw out fun opportunities for generosity among donors. They should be highly relational and be excited to interact with donors from all different backgrounds. They should be well-connected in Lincoln and committed to caring for our community. They should enjoy having a consistent rhythm to the things they do, and see value in doing the little things well. They should not be afraid to challenge and make asks, while also effusively and genuinely being grateful for the ways our donors join us to do what God has called us to do. Their efforts should be led by God’s Spirit and full of faith. Lastly, this person should work well within our team culture, should have a heart for what we do, and should be able to adhere to our Statement of Faith.

P A Y :

$18 – $23/hour, depending on experience

W H A T   Y O U ‘ L L   B E   D O I N G :

• Schedule, meet with, and build relationships with donors and leads
• Connect donors to opportunities for impact and share updates back
• Network with people in Lincoln to invite more people into our work
• Assist our FGH Team in putting on fundraising events and campaigns
• Collaborate with the team to work towards annual funding goals
• Manage recurring donations and communications through our CRM
• Travel overseas 1-2 times per year to connect donors to our work
