Bringing Basic—Yet Lacking—Medical Care

Mathare is a slum in the capital of Nairobi, Kenya. It is home to some of the poorest people in the world. Our partner, Fanuel, grew up here and knows the struggles of the families. The poverty and disadvantages are so prevalent that few receive the healthcare they need. Each medical camp provides free healthcare to those facing medical issues who lack the financial means to go to the local hospitals. It’s a basic need yet out of reach for so many.

$5.1k provides a week of medical supplies and stipends for five doctors to treat children in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya.
