As we’ve visited the graduates of our Tailoring Project in Southern India, the feedback has been amazing. First there’s the transformation of how they view themselves… from stuck and invisible to proud and dignified. Then there’s the skills learned, providing them opportunities unavailable to them up to this point. Then there’s the income coming from the sales of those skills. Finally there’s the greater impact of hope and joy.

Our Tailoring Project seeks to equip people who come from poor economic backgrounds in Southern India. Many of these people are from slum areas or remote villages and have the desire to work, but just don’t have the skills to do so. We provide free courses in tailoring to build them up and improve their employability.
