South India Wells

When you have no access to water, having a well drilled closeby is an amazing gift. Instead of waiting for the Tuesday water truck, or hiking several kilometers through the area to get water, you and your family now have it within a few homes away. You can cook and clean and drink without hours of work or waiting. Indeed, the villagers have been so thankful.

Those who live in poverty in South India lack access to clean water. They are also often unaware of the importance of sanitation. This project drills wells and teaches leaders about the importance of sanitation. The community becomes healthier through better WASH practices. We have 6 wells that are currently serving people however we are not accepting funds for this project at this time.
